The Department of Information Technology on Nevis is currently undergoing the process of ensuring the safety of the government’s cyber space and maintain cybersecurity.

Cybersecurity is the practice of protecting systems, networks, and programs from digital attacks. These cyberattacks are usually aimed at accessing, changing, or destroying sensitive information; extorting money from users via ransomware; or interrupting normal business processes.

With the world quickly venturing deeper into the digital field, the malpractice in cyberspaces continues to increase, causing a dire need for persons to safeguard their systems, networks etc.
