PAM’s “planning to increase seat count”, says new leader

“Those who are dreaming of coalition should be aware that we are planning to increase our seat count”, the word from the new People’s Action Movement (PAM’s) leader, Mrs. Natasha Grey-Brookes.

 

 

 

It comes on heels of PAM hosting its Convention on Sunday June 9th. At present, the party have one seat in the National Assembly, with outgoing leader the Hon. Shawn Richards, as the Area Representative St. Christopher #5 (inclusive of Sandy Point, Fig Tree).

 

 

 

The party formed part of the Team Unity alliance, which included the People’s Labour Party and Concerned Citizens Movement (and held the reins of Government from 2015 to 2022).

 

 

 

Also at the convention, the newly-elected members of the political party were ratified. Along with Mrs. Grey-Brookes on the executive are: Sheldon Pemberton-Chairman.

 

 

 

Deputy Leaders – Azard Gumbs and Lincoln Pelle, Deputy Chairman – Shirley Morgan, Assistant General Secretary-Joevarny Flemming, Treasurer – Drucilla Carty-Richards and PRO Laverne Caines, all make up the executive.
