“Up to 1993, we were seen as the freest nation on earth, our crime rate at that point was almost nil”, that was a quote from Hon. Alexis Jeffers during his ‘On Point’ Program on Friday, September 27th as he addressed the issue of crime that has taken a toll here in St. Kitts and Nevis. 

Jeffers said thereafter, there was an explosion of crime in the federation leading up to current. He continued by saying that we cannot relax on such actions:
