260 vehicles on Nevis, stopped and checked for traffic offenses in 1 day

Officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (Nevis division) conducted a Vehicle Check Point Operation on Monday, November 25th, 2024.

  

According to a release from the Public Relations Office, the operation occurred on Beach Road, Gingerland, where two-hundred-and-sixty vehicles were stopped and checked for a number of traffic offences.

 

 During that time, one-hundred-and-fifteen traffic tickets were handed out for offences identified during the checks. In addition, seventy-three dark tints were removed from vehicles, two motor vehicles were impounded, and one individual was arrested for violations.

  

The police said that it remains steadfast in their mission to ensure the safety of road users and uphold the rule of law and encourages all motorists to adhere to the rules and regulations.
