The Department of Youth – Nevis has declared the opening of nominations for the months of January and February 2025, for the Youth Impact 12 Awards. This initiative recognizes youths of the Nevisian community who have made significant contributions in various categories.
For January, the category will be “Youth in Entrepreneurship”, focusing on youths who are owners or co-owners of businesses that are innovative, sustainable, and have also given back to the community through that business. These nominations will be taken until Monday January 6th, 2025.
“Youth in Technology” will be the focus for February, highlighting individuals who have made a breakthrough in technology, and use information technology to positively impact the community outside of personal interests. Nominations will end on Friday January 24th, 2025.
The most recent recipients of awards in these areas were: Ms. Davinsia Bartlette, in Entrepreneurship, and Mr. Bryton Nisbett, in Technology.
To nominate an individual, visit the Department of Youth on the 2nd Floor of the Reliable Motors Complex, to collect, complete and submit a nomination form.
