Steadroy Jules of St. Paul’s, St. Kitts, was charged for the Conveying of Cannabis into His Majesty’s Prison (HMP); Conveying Wrappers into His Majesty’s Prison and Conveying Tobacco into His Majesty’s Prison.

A press release said the offences were committed on Friday January 3^rd, at HMP. Mr. Jules was charged on Sunday January 5^th, at the Basseterre Police Station. A spokesperson for the police confirmed to the VONNEWSLINE that he is a prison officer.

 Meanwhile, Dequan Dore of East Street, Newtown, St. Kitts has been charged for the offence of Possession of Firearm with Intent to Endanger Life.

 The offence was committed on January 2^nd, 2025, in Newtown. Mr. Dore was charged on January 4^th, 2025, at the Basseterre Police Station.
