Man receives a total of 21 years for robbery and burglary offences

Stanford Williams of Sandy Point, St. Kitts, has been sentenced to serve eleven (11) years in His Majesty’s Prison for the offence of Robbery, which was committed on March 5th, 2022, at Boozie’s Restaurant on Princes Street, Basseterre.

The sentence was handed down by His Lordship Justice Iain Morley, K.C., on Tuesday Jan. 28th, at the High Court in Basseterre. Williams is serving a ten (10) year sentence for a burglary committed on October 21st 2020, for which he was sentenced on September 29th, 2023. This means, according to a police communique, that “both sentences will be served consecutively, resulting in a total imprisonment period of twenty-one (21) years.”
