A Theme Competition for St. Kitts and Nevis’ Independence 42

The Organising Committee of Saint Kitts and Nevis’ Independence 42, has launched a competition inviting individuals to create a theme for the patriotic event.

 

This theme must reflect, “the essence of the nation’s journey over the past 42 years of independence,” as well as, “the country’s rich history, present realities, and future aspirations.”

 

Any citizen or resident of the federation is invited to submit entries that are memorable and concise, being no more than 6-8 words.

 

Persons who choose to participate must submit their names, addresses, and contact numbers with each entry.

 

The selected winner will win a cash prize of EC$1000 and will be expected to appear and participate in outlined independence activities.

 

All entries must be submitted before midnight on Sunday, March 30th, 2025, as no late entries will be recognized. Entries can be submitted through the provided QR code on the official competition poster.

 

Co-Chair of the Organising Committee, Viera K Galloway stated, “We look forward to receiving inspiring and thought-provoking entries that will set the tone for our 42nd Independence celebrations.”
