Prime Minister, Dr. Terrance Drew has responded to allegations of corruption, which have spread on social media platforms.

He said via his Facebook page on Mar. 7^th, “I woke up to desperate individuals spreading lies in the media in an attempt to destroy my integrity and character.”

He added “I have been in politics for a while and have never subscribed to this kind of politics.”

Dr. Drew did not state where exactly the allegations came from but he mentioned “I often let things slide, but accusing me of corruption and boldly putting your lies on social media will be met with a strong response.

The Prime Minister has on several occasions, reiterated his commitment to maintaining ethical standards in politics.
