The Nevis Historical and Conservation Society (NHCS) has a new President in the person of Ms. Isabel Byron. NHCS is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in 1980 to protect the cultural and natural heritage of the island.
NHCS said on social media on Mar. 11th, “We take this opportunity to congratulate our new President, Isabel Byron, who was elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Isabel has served on the Board previously and continues to Chair the NHCS Biodiversity & Conservation Committee.”

In accordance with the Articles of Association, there are also three ex-officio Directors: Ms Terysia Herbert (NHCS Executive Director and Secretary), Mr. Sylvester Meade (NIA representative) and Ms Nykeisha Henry (Youth representative and Asst. Secretary).
