Charlestown Police Station claim: NIA owing money to landlord “fake news”, says Premier Brantley
Premier of Nevis, the Hon. Mark Brantley.
His comments were in relation to claims circulating on social media, about the Nevis Island Administration (NIA) owing money to the landlord of the building, which now houses the Charlestown Police Station, as renovation is ongoing at its main building.
However, Mr. Brantley explained on March 31st that though the NIA does not pay rent, he spoke of an instance of when the government actually did so:
