SKN’s Government and Citizenship by Investment Unit revokes Citizenship of 13 individuals
SKN’s Government and Citizenship by Investment Unit revokes Citizenship of 13 individuals
The Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis through the Saint Christopher and Nevis Citizenship (Deprivation of Citizenship) Order, 2025, has revoked the citizenship of 13 individuals and their dependents. This action was taken to secure the integrity and international reputation of Saint Kitts and Nevis’ Citizenship by Investment Programme.
The reasons cited were the failure to pay the required minimum investment amount under the Citizenship by Investment Programme (CBI), which was indicated otherwise on their applications.
The action resulted from the review of 158 redacted applications, and contracts with international marketing agents linked to suspicious activity, and an investigation carried out by the Ministry of National Security, Immigration, and Citizenship.
Thirty-two of those applicants paid their outstanding balances, 13 admitted to not paying the required investment and took no corrective actions, 1 requested a hearing before the Commission of Inquiry, finally, the remaining 112 individuals remained in contact with the ministry to settle outstanding balances.
Additionally, the Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU), has permanently blacklisted two International Marketing Agents. They are the Latitude Consultancy and RIF Trust. The cause given is both companies were in clear violation of “the laws governing the programme”, and were misleading clients, who have “confirmed receiving false assurances of ‘special discounts” regarding the statutory minimum of investments.
