The Breastfeeding Committee of St. Kitts and Nevis is seeking donations for breastfeeding mothers in recognition of World Breastfeeding Protection Day.

Donations will be accepted between Sunday, May 25^th and Thursday, August 28^th, 2025.

The committee will be accepting new and used Breast Pumps, Milk Storage Bags, Nursing Pads, Nursing Pillows and Breast Shields among other items.

Persons can drop off these items at the Alexandra Hospital’s Maternity Unit, the Nevis Health Promotion Unit and all Health Centres on Nevis and in St. Kitts, at the Ministry of Health’s Main Administration Building, the JNF General Hospital’s Maternity Ward and the Pogson Medical Centre.

According to the Nevis HPU facebook page, each donation will help to ensure that every mother has access to the resources they need for successful breastfeeding – especially when a mother is away from her baby or have challenges with breast feeding.
