The Eastern Caribbean’s Powerhouse, VON Radio is celebrating its 37th year of being on the airwaves and serving the people of Nevis.
On June 18th 1988, the organization opened its doors, being the first radio station on the island.
Over the past years, it has evolved its range of services including reliable news and information, advertisements, talk shows, event broadcasting and archiving the history of Nevis over the past thirty-seven years.
For this year’s celebration, the public will be able to hear several flashbacks being aired over the coming days, focused on pivotal events throughout the years. Persons were afforded the opportunity to call throughout the day on June 18th, to air their views and greetings on the anniversary.
