Tourism Development Levy collected for first six months sees 9.4% increase compared to 2024

Statistics for the Tourism Development Levy collected on Nevis has seen an increase in the first six months of 2025 compared to that of the same period of the previous two years.

 

 

During his monthly Press Conference, Premier of Nevis and Minister of Tourism, Hon. Mark Brantley provided information on the revenue collected over the past three years.

 

 

The Tourism Development Levy is a tax collected from organizations such as hotels, restaurants, Air B&Bs, guesthouses and other such businesses registered at the Inland Revenue Department but paid by the consumers of the establishments.

 

 

While providing the stats, Premier Brantley said the numbers speak for themselves on the growth and development of the sector over the years:
