The third gathering of Town Hall Meetings took place at the Franklyn Brown Community Centre, in the St. James Constituency, on July 7^th 2025, where Minister of Health, Social Empowerment, et.al, the Hon. Jahnel Nisbett, gave several updates.

She shared that several infrastructural improvements at the Alexandra Hospital are nearing completion such as the pharmacy overhaul:

She added that the new kitchen will soon be completed and shortly ready to serve the community, which will feature a brand new kitchen, new equipment, as well as offices and facilities for the nutrition and dietetics specialists.

Furthermore, she announced that a program dubbed the “Senior Safe Programme” will be launched in October 2025, offering all the benefits that the government offers in a tiered system.  Each elder’s unique situation will be assessed to determine their specific needs from the programme. Minister Nisbett gave these examples:
