PS of Education encourages Parents to keep children engaged this summer
As the summer break continues for students on the island, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Ms. Zahnela Claxton, encourages parents and guardians to keep the children meaningfully engaged.
Children should remain active, spending time in nature and engaging in physical activity. Ms. Claxton suggested the ongoing activities being facilitated by the Department of Sports – Nevis.
Other activities include: tennis, netball, basketball, swimming, cricket, and table tennis. For more information persons can visit the Department of Sports located on the second floor of the Reliable Motors Complex in Charlestown or call 469 5521 EXT. 6710.
