“This is not goodbye, but see you again”, words from the Republic of China’s (Taiwan) Ambassador Michael Lin, as he prepares to leave for his homeland of Taiwan.
Taiwan in St. Kitts & Nevis social media mentioned “we are honored to share Ambassador Michael Chau-Horng Lin’s heartfelt Farewell Letter to the Brothers & Sisters of St. Kitts and Nevis.”
It added “after 7.5 unforgettable years of friendship, partnership, and shared progress in areas like education, healthcare, agriculture, recycling, and women’s empowerment, Ambassador Lin reflects on the bonds that unite Taiwan and St. Kitts & Nevis.”
Deputy Premier of Nevis, the Hon. Eric Evelyn said in light of this “Ambassador Lin thank you so very much for all that you did for St Kitts and Nevis during your short seven and a half years. You have been a true friend to the Federation for which we will eternally be grateful. You were indeed special and God sent and we will sure miss you. I am sure we will all agree that you were the BEST.”
