Police Deny Release of Selwyn Pringle in Janelika Romney Case

Police have firmly denied rumors that Selwyn Pringle, alias “Judge” has been released or cleared of charges in the ongoing murder case of 15-year-old Janelika Romney.

 

Romney was discovered on June 27th 2025, in a bushy area on a dirt road, in the White Gate area, St. Kitts. She was found about 11 days after disappearing on Monday June 16th.

 

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force stated on social media that Pringle remains charged with Kidnapping, False Imprisonment and Murder and “is currently remanded at His Majesty’s Prison awaiting trial.”

 

The Police Force is urging the public to act responsibly when sharing information, especially in sensitive cases. It mentioned that “the spread of false information, they say, adds to the grief of the victim’s family and hampers justice efforts.”

 

They reaffirmed their commitment to securing justice for Janelika and thanks the public for its continued support.
