Prime Minister, Dr. Terrance Drew continues to highlight the transformative power of the ASPIRE Programme, Achieving Success through Personal Investment Resources and Education.

His sentiments echoed the core of ASPIRE: each suitable child aged 5 to 18 will receive EC $1,000 from the government—divided equally between a savings account and state-owned share investments—alongside mandatory financial education in schools.

By November 2024, the National Assembly had formally passed the ASPIRE Bill, setting up the ASPIRE Fund and Council to manage the programme. By December 2024, more than 3,000 young citizens had signed up—underscoring its rapid appeal.

As PM Drew emphasizes, it’s about “building a mindset” that lasts a lifetime.
