With visitors and returning citizens making their way to the island of Nevis for the summer festivities, the public is reminded that all agricultural produce being taken out of the federation, should be taken to the Quarantine Unit at the Department of Agriculture situated at Prospect.

This process is in confinement of import regulations to prevent the transmission of pests and diseases.

Premier, Hon. Mark Brantley made the appeal to the public to have the necessary certificate from the unit to prevent any issues when travelling:
