Guyana 3 peats at Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant, Nevis takes 1st runner up spot

Miss Guyana Shadiamond Assanah emerged was crowned the 2025 First Federal Cooperative Credit Union Miss Caribbean Culture Queen, on Monday night Aug. 4th.

 

 

The show was held at the NEDACS Cultural Complex. Initially, according to the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant’s Facebook page, 10 ladies representing the following 10 countries were to vie for the 2025 crown, namely: St. Kitts, Antigua & Barbuda, St. Lucia, Turks & Caicos, Dominica, Belize, St. Vincent & the Grenadines (SVG), US Virgin Islands, Nevis and Guyana.

 

On the night of the pageant, only 9 ladies competed and reason (s) unknown, SVG did not participate. Nonetheless, in the end, it was Miss Guyana Shadiamond Assanah with 1213 points, who won the crown, a three peat for the country having won in 2023, 2024 and now 2025.

 

 

1st runner up was Miss Nevis Sherquanya Jeffers with 1155 points and Miss Dominica Tanisha Balson took the 2nd runner up spot, amassing a total of 1127 points. Monday night’s show also formed part of activities for Culturama 2025.

 

Meantime, Culturama 2025 culminated on Tuesday Aug. 5th with the Street Troupe and Parade and Last Lap in the streets of Charlestown.
