Eight charges have been laid against thirty-two-year-old Kareem “Junjun” Jeffers, age thirty-two of Pond’s Pasture, Basseterre, St. Kitts.

 He was charged in relation to a shooting incident at Pond’s Pasture on July 30^th, 2025, that injured Police officer Talbert Warner, Jr. On August 8^th, 2025, at the Basseterre Police Station.

Mr. Jeffers was charged with one count of Attempted Murder, one count of Possession of Firearm, one count of Possession of Ammunition, one count of Possession of Firearm with Intent to Endanger Life, one count of Discharging a Loaded Firearm within Forty Yards of a Public Road, three counts of Shooting at with Intent.

In a statement, the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force extended its sincere gratitude to all who provided assistance during the investigation.
