In an update about the body of an elderly man, which was recently discovered, lawmen have revealed the identity.

Police say the body was found on Thursday August 14th, around 7:30 am.

A police spokesperson told the VONNEWSLINE that the body was “positively identified as 78-year-old Wingrove Maynard of Mount Lily, Nevis. An autopsy is pending.”

He was found deceased in a storm drain in New Castle near the beach, on Nevis.

No foul play was suspected in that matter.
