Two Illegal Firearms Seized in Saddlers and Nevis Man arrested on cannabis charges
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force seized two illegal firearms on St. Kitts earlier this week.
On September 9th, during a search in Saddlers, officers discovered a Mac-10 with a magazine and five rounds of .380 ammunition hidden in a bag. A second firearm was also found in another bag, along with two magazines, one containing six rounds of .45 ammunition and the other empty, plus fifteen additional rounds.
The Crime Scene Unit processed the area and took the weapons, ammunition and other items of interest into custody. Police say the investigation is ongoing and the public will be updated as it develops.
Anyone with information to come forward by contacting the nearest police station or calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at 707.This latest seizure means 15 illegal firearms in total so far for 2025, have been taken off of our streets.
In More Police News-The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has confirmed the arrest of a Nevis man on cannabis-related charges.
On September 9th, Te’Jon Wilkin of Nisbett Settlement was taken in custody and later charged with Cultivation of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with intent to Supply.
Police say the charges were laid at the Charlestown Police Station and investigations are continuing.
