Another woman has been charged in connection with a Larceny-related offence.
A police communique states, “the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) has charged Akelia Bassue of West Farm, St. Kitts, with Simple Larceny.”
Simple Larceny is the theft of another person’s property without the use of violence, force, or threats.
The offence was committed on Monday September 22nd, at Ram’s Supermarket at Bird Rock. Ms. Bassue was charged shortly thereafter at the Basseterre Police Station.
This comes on the heels of three women formally charged in connection with several larceny-related offences committed earlier this month, at Ram’s Supermarket in Frigate Bay. A police spokesperson told the VONNEWSLINE that one of the three, was an ex-soldier within the St. Kitts-Nevis Defense Force (SKNDF).
