“Is the Alexandra Hospital Expansion project, still a top priority for the NIA?”

That was posed to Nevis’ Premier, the Hon. Mark Brantley by the VONNEWSLINE during his monthly press conference on Sep. 30^th. This was his response.

The project officially started in 2017. Upon completion, the hospital will have a new wing of over 60,000 square feet added to the existing building, which will include a physiotherapy wing, pediatric isolation wing, laboratory wing, operating theatre and radiology wing.

Mr. Brantley explained that the Nevis Island Administration (NIA) is looking to engage a company for the project.
