Nevis has secured the eighth spot in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards for Caribbean travel in 2026, highlighting the island as a must-visit destination for its natural beauty and outdoor activities.

The website described Nevis as “unique with its towering volcanic peak rising out of the serene waters that are home to a plethora of healthy reefs and marine life like sea turtles.” The website also stated: “Deep sea fishing and scuba diving are ocean highlights. On land, biking, cooking classes, and ATVing provide hours of entertainment.”

In commenting on the achievement the Nevis Tourism Authority (NTA) says it “reflects the collective efforts of our people, communities and local businesses. From our rich history and culture to our natural beauty and warm hospitality, it’s the pride we take in our island every day that continues to capture international attention.”

The NTA concluded that the ranking allows the island to reach the global audience of millions of readers who seek travel recommendations from the “USA TODAY 10Best” site.
