Premier of Nevis, the Hon. Mark Brantley, has outlined significant progress for the island’s water infrastructure citing investments aimed at long-term water security.
Providing an update on the Ministry of Communication & Works, Premier Brantley said a drone survey conducted in December 2025 identified new groundwater sources in the Hamilton area, expected to reduce costs associated with supplying water to the geothermal project and support future development. Also, drilling operations have temporarily shifted from Dasent’s site to Hamilton due to borehole stabilization challenges. Other investments included:
