The Department of Community Development on Nevis is currently in its planning stage for its 3rd annual Nevis Multi-Cultural Heritage Festival.
Registration is now open for vendors, artisans and culinary practitioners who are interested in selling at the event. Registration for Food and Beverage stalls is $100.00, Artisans and Agro-Processing $75.00 and the deadline will be Friday, March 20th, 2026.
According to the department, this year, persons will see various cultural performances, such as Cake Walk, String Band renditions and indulge in different cuisines from various countries. Last year, persons were able to sample dishes from Trinidad, Guyana, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, St. Kitts and Nevis, China, Taiwan, Africa, and Jamaica among others.
The purpose of this unique festival is to bring different ethnicity, culture and traditions into one grand occasion. The event is slated for Saturday, May 30th, 2026 at the Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park at Pinney’s.
