Four Seasons Resort, Nevis (FSRN), is celebrating 35 Years of service to the Nevisian public and the world over. The Resort, founded by Isadore Sharp, opened its doors on February 14th, 1991. Since then, Four Seasons provided crucial employment for local residents (even in St. Kitts), transforming an economy which was reliant on agriculture and fishing.

Moreover, as one of the island’s primary economic drivers, the resort stands as the second largest employer after the Nevis Island Administration (NIA). Deputy Premier, the Hon. Eric Evelyn, said the Resort has been good.

The Resort has played a transformative role in the economic and social development of Nevis. Recently, seven local managers were selected to participate in a pilot eighteen-month MIT Leadership Development Course. During its 35th anniversary ceremony on Feb. 14th, General Manager, Avi Phookan, indicated that more than 90 % of FSRN’s employees are Nevisian.
