Department of Gender Affairs Invites Nominations for 2026 Women’s Day Honors

Nevis’ Ministry of Health, Gender Affairs and Social Empowerment has issued a call for nominations for its 2026 International Women’s Day Awards under the theme: “Rights. Justice. Action for All Women and Girls.”

The initiative, led by the Department of Gender Affairs, aims to recognize outstanding Nevisian women making transformative contributions across key sectors.

Nominations, which close on March 15^th, 2026, are open in five categories: Women in Finance, Women in Agro-processing, Women in Arts and Culture, Women in Law, and Women in the Circular Economy. Eligible nominees must demonstrate measurable impact, leadership, innovation, and a commitment to gender equality within their respective fields.
