St. Kitts and Nevis welcomed a non-stop flight from Cairo, Egypt on February 24th, ahead of the 50th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM.

The aircraft, a Dassault Falcon 8X, landed at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport after nearly 13 hours in the air, traveled directly from Cairo to Basseterre without stopping.

The ultra-long-range business jet is capable of flying up to 6,450 nautical miles, making such a journey possible without refueling.

While the Falcon 7X has visited the Federation before, this marked the first recorded arrival of the Falcon 8X at the airport.

Introduced in 2014, the aircraft features an extended cabin, enhanced wing design, and improved fuel efficiency compared to earlier models.

The rare direct flight underscores St. Kitts and Nevis’ growing visibility on the international stage, particularly as the Federation continues discussions under the CARICOM summit.
