Lawmen have provided an update on the Mar. 5th three-vehicle accident, on Nevis.

A police spokesperson told the VONNEWSLINE preliminary investigations suggest that a car that was exiting the Horsford’s Nevis Centre parking lot, in Marion Heights and entering the main road, struck a pickup that was travelling on the main road from Charlestown towards Gingerland.

The impact caused the pickup to flip and hit a jeep that was travelling from Gingerland towards Charlestown. The car ended up on the other side of the island main road, where it came to a stop after it struck a bus stop. All three drivers were transported to the Alexandra Hospital for medical attention.

Photos and videos making the rounds on social media depict the three vehicles: a white Suzuki swift car, Toyota Rav 4 jeep and a white Toyota Hilux pickup belonging to telecommunications company FLOW, badly damaged.

All drivers were treated and discharged as none were seriously injured.
