One man was rescued by civilians in the wake of his car bursting into flames.

In an update, police told the VONNEWSLINE that over the previous weekend (Feb. 27^th to Mar. 1^st), a car side-swiped a passenger bus that was travelling from Basseterre towards St. Paul’s, St. Kitts, fled the scene and collided with a wall in the vicinity of the Ramada Hotel, after which it wound up engulfed in flames.

The driver was rescued by civilians and transported to the JNF Hospital for treatment.

No update was provided about the man’s condition.
