The Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis has launched an open call for proposals for Community-Based Restorative Justice Micro-Grants aimed at strengthening access to justice and supporting community-led conflict resolution.

The initiative is being administered by the Attorney General’s Office of Saint Kitts and Nevis and the Federal Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs as part of a broader justice reform programme implemented in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme.

Three grants of US$3,000 will be awarded to eligible civil society and community organisations to implement restorative justice activities over a four to six month period. The grants are intended to support initiatives such as community mediation, restorative dialogue, justice referral support, and reintegration programmes for individuals affected by conflict or harm.

Projects must deliver at least four structured engagement activities, reach a minimum of 15 participants, and document outcomes through reporting and case tracking.

Applications opened March 9, 2026, and close March 22, 2026, with implementation scheduled to begin in April. For more information persons can visit the website legal.gov.kn or call 467-1963.
