13-year-old girl found safe and “in good health”, police say

Less than 24 hours after her “Missing Person” bulletin was issued, 13-year-old Danika Hicks of Round Hill, Nevis, was found safe.

She was last seen in Round Hill, near her home around 8pm on Friday Mar. 13th. Police issued her bulletin on Saturday afternoon Mar. 14th, seeking the public’s assistance in locating the teenager.

 

However, just hours after her bulletin was issued, the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force reported on social media, that the teenage girl was found by officers “in the Church Ground area and taken to the Charlestown Police Station.”

 

The Police Force mentioned at the time “while she appears to be in good health, she will undergo a medical assessment as a precaution.” Lawmen have expressed their gratitude to the public for its cooperation and assistance in this matter.

 

Danika Hicks is the second teenage girl reported missing this month. Police issued a “Missing Person” bulletin for 16-year-old Ezaunia Batson alias Blessings of Hamilton, on Mar. 3rd. She was later found in “good health” in the Prospect area, in the early evening hours of Mar. 3rd.
