Community Development to host Easter Health Camp for Children

The Department of Community Development, in partnership with the Nevis Health Promotion Unit, is set to host CAMP H.E.A.L.T.H., a two-week initiative aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles among children during the Easter break.

 

Scheduled from April 7th to April 17th, 2026, the camp will take place at the Jessup’s Community Centre and run daily from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Designed for children ages 5 to 12, the program emphasizes a holistic approach to wellness through a blend of education and recreational activities.

 

Participants will engage in cooking and baking sessions, nutrition and health lessons, as well as physical activities and outdoor games. A special Fun Day is also included to enhance the experience. Organizers note that the initiative seeks to instill lifelong healthy habits in a fun and interactive environment.

 

The registration fee is $50, which includes daily lunch. Interested parents are encouraged to register early by visiting the Department of Community Development at the Evelyn Henville Building in Charlestown or call 469 5521 EXT. 6464.
