An Entrepreneur has been charged by police with the offence of Attempted Murder. Carlton Dupont of Amory Drive, Camps, St. Kitts, was charged at the Basseterre Police Station on Friday Mar. 27^th.

The offence is in connection with a wounding incident occurred at a residence in Amory Drive, during the morning hours of Tuesday Mar. 10^th.

Upon arrival, officers learned that Mrs. Anita Dupont also of Amory Drive, had sustained injuries and had already been transported by Emergency Medical Services to the Joseph N. France General Hospital for medical treatment.

Subsequently, officers gained entry to the residence where Mr. Dupont was found inside the home with injuries. He was transported by ambulance shortly thereafter to the JNF General Hospital for medical treatment.
