St. Kitts and Nevis Chosen as Host of Fifth Afro-Caribbean Trade Summit

St. Kitts and Nevis is set to host the fifth annual Afro-Caribbean Trade and Investment Forum (ACTIF) for the first time, marking a significant step in deepening ties between Africa and the Caribbean.

 

The summit which is an initiative of the African Import Export Bank (Afreximbank) will be held from July 29th to 31st, at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort. Cabinet Secretary, Dr. Marcus L. Natta stated:

 

 

 

 

Beyond economic discussions, ACTIF will include “Actif Fest,” a cultural showcase featuring music, dance, and visual arts, highlighting local and regional talent while encouraging entrepreneurship and cross-regional collaboration.

 

Additionally, ACTIF 2025 facilitated five agreements across three Caribbean countries, amounting to USD 291.25 million, covering areas such as trade and investment finance, corporate finance, project preparation, and export development.
