Effective Friday May 22nd, consumers were advised that the maximum retail prices for Unleaded Gasoline are as follows: For SOL Service Stations – St. Kitts & Nevis: EC $18.44 per gal, DELTA Service Stations – St. Kitts: now EC$18.83 per gal.

A representative from SOL confirmed that the actual price at the pump, is the same as the maximum retail price ($18.44). For Delta, it is $18.83 at the pump. These prices have been approved by the Ministry of Finance.

This change represents a decrease of 26 cents for SOL Service Stations. Effective Friday May 15th, the maximum retail price for SOL’s Unleaded Gasoline was EC $18.70 per gal.

The prices reflect the 50% reduction on Excise Tax and Customs Service Charge, according to the Consumer Affairs Department-St. Kitts.

On April 14th, PM Dr. Terrance Drew announced among other relief measures, the reduction of excise tax on gasoline from EC $1.95 per gallon to EC $0.98 cents per gallon: a 50 percent reduction, from April 20th to July 31st 2026 in the first instance.
