Premier of Nevis, Hon. Mark Brantley as he provided a report on the Property Tax Revaluation Exercise. He said the extension was put in place to ensure the completion of all properties on Nevis.

Further, Mr. Brantley stated that the aim of the exercise is to modernize the property Tax Framework, and improve the accuracy, consistence and integrity of Property Assessments on the island.

He continued by saying that this process is long overdue, as it is expected to be done every 5 years. The last revaluation exercise was conducted in 2008, almost two (2) decades ago.
