The Ministry of Health of Saint Kitts and Nevis has announced a new partnership with Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM) to support the rollout of the National Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems across St. Kitts and Nevis.
Under the partnership, Ross VET will provide facilities for hands-on training as more than 300 healthcare professionals prepare to transition from paper-based records to a modern digital health system.
Health officials say the new Electronic Medical Records system is expected to improve the management of patient information, strengthen coordination among healthcare providers, enhance clinical accuracy, and support better health outcomes for patients.
The digital platform is also expected to improve national health planning by providing more efficient access to healthcare data and records.
The Ministry of Health has expressed appreciation to Ross VET for its continued support, noting that the partnership represents another important step in the modernization of healthcare services throughout the Federation.
