An earthquake was recorded near Basseterre, St. Kitts on Tuesday June 30th.
The University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre (UWI-SRC) said the magnitude 3.9 quake occurred at 10:37am and was located Latitude: 18.58 degrees N, Longitude: 62.13 degrees W and struck at a depth of 10 km.
The quake occurred 157 km NE of Basseterre, 166 km NNW of Saint John’s, Antigua and Barbuda and 198 km N of Brades, Montserrat.
There were no felt reports.
