The TDC Group of Companies has reaffirmed its longstanding commitment to Nevis’ cultural heritage with a sponsorship of the 2026 Senior Calypso Monarch Competition all apart of activities for Culturama 52.

During a recent cheque presentation, a TDC official highlighted the company’s more than 30-year partnership with the event. Ernie France, the Head of TDC’s Nevis Operations gave these remarks:

Culturama Chair, Swain Evelyn, thanked TDC for its continued support and encouraged other businesses to invest in cultural development. He also urged the public to attend Friday night’s competition, promising an exciting show with a special surprise for patrons.

The Senior Calypso Monarch Finals will be held on Friday, July 31^st, at 8 p.m. at the NEDACS Cultural Complex, featuring reigning monarch Empress Lyric and a lineup of finalists competing for the coveted title. They are King Dis N Dat, Buffalo Soldier, Kairo, Lady Nevaeh, Might Hollywood, De-Syder and Bonita.
