The Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis has officially launched the Independence 43 Calendar of Activities, marking the countdown to the Federation’s 43rd Anniversary of Independence on September 19, 2026.

Under the theme “One People, One Vision, Endless Possibility: Independence 43,” the season features a diverse programme of civic, cultural, youth, sporting, and community events that celebrate the nation’s history while inspiring confidence in its future.

Highlights include the four-part CONVERSATIONS: Reflections & The Way Forward dialogue series, National Colours Day, National Tree Planting Day, Cabinet school visits, the 28th Prime Minister’s Lecture Series, National Heroes’ Day, Patriotic Day, Independence Day celebrations, and youth events culminating with the Night of Dance on October 25.

Co-Chairs of the Independence 43 Organising Committee, Dr. Marcus L. Natta and Ms. Viera Galloway, said the calendar invites every citizen, resident, visitor, and member of the diaspora to honour the nation’s journey, celebrate its achievements, and recommit to building a stronger future together.
