Under the theme: “A Legacy of Learning, a future of possibility, the next generation of excellence”, a ceremony was held for this year’s recipients of the 2026 TDC Warren C. Tyson Memorial Scholarship.

The event was held at the TDC Training Room, on Fort Street, in Basseterre, St. Kitts on Saturday, September 5^th, 2026.

Those who were inducted into the program are Ivandria Weekes of the Charlestown Secondary School, Syian Jones of the Gingerland Secondary School, Kailah Harris of the Basseterre High School, Nazaiye Williams of the Cayon High School, Anica Huggins of the Charles E. Mills Secondary School, Leraine Langley of the Denzil L. Douglas Secondary School, K’Jahnel Williams of the Verchilds High School and Aurianna Cranston of the Washington Archibald Secondary School.

Meantime, the TDC Financial Services Excellence Award was also given to a number of students for maintaining academic excellence in their individual schools.  They are: Izariel Webbe of the Charlestown Secondary School, Kaheim Pemberton of the Gingerland Secondary School, Zadoiah Pennyfeather of the Basseterre High School, Jannie Simon of the Cayon High School, Kevinique Powell of the Charles E. Mills Secondary School, Avandi Connor of the Denzil L. Douglas Secondary School, Darkiri Gibson of the Verchilds High School and Dionis Raposo of the Washington Archibald Secondary School.

During the proceeding, Keynote Speaker, Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist and past Alumni of the scholarship program, Dr. Shevorn Henry told the awardees to be disciplined:
