During a special ceremony for the Commissioning of a new 500,000 Gallon Water Tank at Stoney Hill in Gingerland on Thursday September 10th, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Communications, Public Works, Water Services, Denzil Stanley, provided details of the state-of-the-art Glass Fused to Steel Bolted Water Storage Tank:

Stanley spoke about Precision Construction’s impressive resume:

He added that the company has completed two tanks for Four Seasons, two tanks for the Agriculture Department, and tanks at Hamilton and Zetlands for the Nevis Water Department.

Remarks were also heard from Minister responsible for Water et al., Hon. Spencer Brand:

Hon. Brand continued by saying that our homes, schools, health facilities, agriculture, hotels, businesses and every family on Nevis deserve access to a safe and reliable water supply. The commissioning of this tank, therefore, represents another important step of strengthening our overall system.

The event was hosted by the Nevis Water Department and the Integrated Water Resource Management Unit.
