Labour Party “pleased” with dissolution of National Assembly, but says announcement was “Overdue”

Political Leader of the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP), Dr. the Hon. Denzil Douglas.

 

Dr. Douglas was referring to the fact that Parliament was dissolved on Tuesday, May 12th, 2020.

 

However, he expressed his displeasure in the Prime Minister’s announcement of the dissolution, because it was announced on Wednesday, May 13th, 2020.

 

 

Dr. Douglas said that the Constitution is final.
