As the General Elections draw nigh here in St. Kitts and Nevis with only less than two weeks before Election day (Friday June 5^th), the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM’s) candidate for Nevis # 10, the Hon. Eric Evelyn has sought to clear the air, regarding a statement made at a recent campaign rally.

On Friday night, Mr. Evelyn’s opponent, Nevis Reformation Party (NRP’s) Candidate for Nevis # 10, Mr. Bjorn Hanley, said he (Mr. Evelyn) “will ensure you (the public) remain jobless”.

However, the VONNEWSLINE spoke with Minister Evelyn, who dubbed the remarks, as “nonsense”.

Furthermore, he said he is an advocate for the ordinary man.
